| Brooks Resources Corporation purchased the land under the thirty-three phases of Awbrey Butte homesites in 1970. Brooks sold the first homesite in 1984 and the final homesite in 2005. Brooks Resources will relinquish control of the Awbrey Butte Declaration of Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CC&Rs) on or before December 31, 2008.
On June 4, 2008, Awbrey Butte owners voted to establish an Awbrey Butte Owners Association (ABOA).
