Do I have to wait for an ARC meeting to get a paint color approved?

NEW Pre-Approved Paint Schemes

By selecting one of the pre-approved ARC paint color schemes, you will receive instant approval of your completed application (no ARC review required). Please visit the association office to view the paint color scheme sheets. You may sign-out individual sheets for a short time. You will also need to paint samples on your home for on site inspection prior to starting your project.

Our Community Needs Architectural Review Committee Members

The Board of Directors is looking for owners who are interested in serving on the Architectural Review Committee (ARC).

The ARC is responsible for maintaining the architectural and design integrity of our community, within the guidelines established by the CC&Rs.  No architectural or construction background is required to serve on this committee.   We have a consulting architect who reviews plans and attends each meeting to provide technical expertise.

The only qualifications required are the ability to regularly attend ARC meetings and a desire to help owners make improvements to their properties while maintaining the character and appearance of our community.

The ARC meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The meetings are usually concluded in less than an hour.

There are currently three owners serving on the committee and we would like to increase that number to five.  This will help insure that we always have quorum for meetings and it will also give us more diverse and creative input.

If you are interested in learning more about this opportunity, simply email us at info@awbreybutteowners.org with your contact information and we will be in touch with you.

An Important Reminder About the Architectural Review Process

Prior approval is required for all landscaping modifications, tree removal, green houses, play structures, exterior painting, and any exterior additions, or remodeling.

Failure to obtain prior approval from the Architectural Review Committee (ARC) can result in fines and an order to remove or restore the work that was done.

The ARC meets on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. All applications that meet the requirements of the Design Guidelines will be approved without delay.  Any applications that are not approved will be returned promptly with clear information about why it was not approved.  Whenever possible, the ARC will offer changes that would bring the application into compliance with the Design Guidelines.
